Production blog editing

 Editing stage is pretty basic, I got all of the scenes and I just need decide a software to use. Since my PC is pretty bad, I got to work with what I can use which would be clip champ. Now what about the background music? So far I have no clue what songs to use. But the idea is that indoors clip would be some sort of lobby music, summer would have a summer motif, and well winter, the winter motif. Editing style would be pretty basic, nothing too fancy due to restrictions from the editing software, some jump cuts and fade should do the trick. During the recording, I also tried timing myself to fit the 30 second criteria so after some little cuts of the beginning and the end and putting the scenes in order, the basic track would be done. Effects and soundeffects would be used from online websites along with an outro of all of the mentos ads. There will also be the use of some AI to get rid of some background music and overall to make the commerical sound better. Some aftereffects will be attempted to make the scenes look better and more appealing. Putting it together, I get a pretty clean commercial after recording only two times. Is it the best, probably not, but with the time we got to finish this, I think its pretty neat. And that should be about it for this Mentos commercial.

Before everything was even started, I came up with an idea of where we can record. For the film, we need an indoors area and an outside area for the flavor "feelings". Friends that are locals to my friends gave me the idea of a decent park nearby for recording. Fit for our description, I set the location for the group to record on along with the day. I had a rough idea of what the commercial would include but it would be better if we had a reference. So I took the time to draw a whole storyboard representing our events that would happen handy for when we need to remember what to record. Tweaks were then set up before the day of the recording as ideas contradicted. Ended up using the most convenient.
